Chantal Ortiz Assef

Education

Born and raised in South Texas, Chantal has built her career supporting large-scale petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations.
Her experience working alongside business leaders, operations teams, and human resources professionals has given her a firsthand understanding of the people, processes, and challenges that shape complex industrial organizations.
Throughout her career, Chantal has developed a guiding philosophy: To find the right talent and develop effective solutions, you must first understand the business—and the people who make it successful.
She believes that human capital strategies should never be one-size-fits-all. Every organization has its own culture, operational priorities, and workforce challenges. By taking the time to understand those dynamics, she develops solutions that are not only strategic but also practical and sustainable.
With experience spanning talent acquisition, workforce development, leadership training, employee relations, organizational communications, and HR initiatives, Chantal brings a versatile, business-focused perspective to her work.
Her capabilities extend beyond traditional consulting. Whether recruiting specialized technical and professional talent, coordinating maintenance and operations hiring classes, developing customized leadership programs, strengthening HR processes, or providing additional capacity to established HR teams, she works to bridge the gap between organizational needs and effective execution.
